Publishing

The first book published by the Library was The Catalogue of Pančevo Town Library: Belletristic Literature in Serbo-Croatian, German and Hungarian (1936). This publication was prepared by the young writers from Pančevo of that time: Milivoje V. Isailović, Dušan Trumić, Vladislav Mošulj and Slavko Njagulj.
In 1965 collection of poems was published, under the title - Condemned to Tenderness. This collection comprises the poems by Miroslav Antić, Mile Biskupljanin, Đorđe Vlajić, Dragutin Ilkić-Birta, Mladen Markov, Miloš Nikolić and also the poems by young poets from Vojvodina – Raša Perić, Gradimir Stojković and Miladin Kondić.
Other projects followed:

  • photoprinted publication Pančevac 1869-1871 in two volumes (1981)
  • photoprinted publication Žiža 1871-1874, on the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jovan Jovanović Zmaj (1983)
  • Pančevo Bibliography 1833-1963 (1985) by a famous Serbian bibliographer Miodrag Živanov,
  • the doctoral dissertation by Milan Ćurčin Serbian National Poem in German Literature, translated by Branimir Živojinović (1987)
  • Study Vasa Pelagić in the newspaper "Pančevac", on the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vasa Pelagić, prepared by Risto Besarović (1988)
  • Commemorative edition of the fist volume of the poems by Miroslav Antić, Told in Spring (1988)
  • Unknown and Not Well Known Works by Branislav Nušić, prepared by Dr Aleksandar Pejović, on the 125th anniversary of the author's birth (1989)
  • Study by Duško M. Kovačević Vasa Živković: life, work and poetry (1990)
  • Pančevo Literary Topography (2001)
  • Pančevo Town Library participated in re-publishing of The History of Coenobic Monastery Vojlovica in 2002.
